Year 4 – Class 4W
Welcome to class 4W
Our class teacher is Mr. Wignall and our teaching assistants are Mrs. Hayes and Mrs. Mbengue.
Summer Term 2018
We had a lovely visit to Croxteth Park to study the environment. We identified the different trees and learnt about the river Alt.
This week we made Easy Malteser Cheesecake…mmm delicious.
Apple of My Eye have been working with 4W looking at fungi and the foods that rely on it. They have started to grow their own mushrooms.
Learning our Eurovision song and practising the dance moves.
After all that practising we put on a wonderful performance.
Spring Term 2018
After looking at Roman mosaics we made our own mosaic coasters.
Our Roman workshop day was a great success. We dressed liked Romans or Celts and spent the day learning how they lived. We played Roman games, acted in a Roman play, ate Roman food, looked at everyday Roman objects and made some of our own.
4W received so many awards this week, including the attendance cup. Well done!
Acting out our Talk for Writing story “Where the wild things are”.
We worked together to show everything we know about fractions.
We can solve fraction problems and dance along to a fraction song!
