Month of 12/2020:
Week of 22/11/2020: In English we have been learning to use the conjunction or, to join two sentences. We took turns by playing tennis and hitting a sentence to each other.
Week of 22/11/2020: This week we enjoyed learning about Latin and Salsa music. We had so much fun learning the Macarena.
Week of 22/11/2020: During our English unit of Traditional tales with a twist, Goldilocks came to visit our class.
Week of 22/11/2020: We have been learning about the conjunction or, to join two sentences together. We played a game of tennis to return back a compound sentence to each other.
Week of 08/11/2020:
Week of 05/10/2020: In PHSE we have been having discussions about being responsible at home and in school.
Week of 05/10/2020: Children enjoyed acting out the stories of ‘The Crying camel’ and ‘The ants’ . Stories about the prophet Muhammed.
Week of 05/10/2020: In Maths we have been learning about partitioning numbers, number bonds and mathematical sign.
Week of 05/10/2020: In geography we enjoyed identifying areas from our school map and then taking photos to annotate our map next week.
Week of 05/10/2020: We enjoyed PE on the new Astro turf pitch. Our class has got some good runners.
Week of 07/09/2020: This week class 2.3 have been working very hard and having lots of fun with their maths.

Week of 08/03/2020: Children in 1.1 were learning about Palm Sunday. The children made palm leaves and reenacted the story.
Week of 01/03/2020: 1.1 had a very interesting visit from firefighters. We learned about how hard it would have been to stop a fire before we had modern fire engines.
Week of 02/02/2020: 1.1 have been learning about evergreen and deciduous leaves. We looked closely and found that evergreen leaves are waxy and can be spiky.
Autumn Term 2019
Week of 25/11/2019: We learned that when two primary colours mix, it makes a secondary colour.
Week of 22/10/2019: We went for a walk around the Liverpool docks, visiting the Wheel of Liverpool and The Museum of Liverpool.
Week of 22/10/2019: We saw the exoskeleton of a tarantula! We learned that our skeleton is on the inside, but some animals have them on the outside.
