Hello children,
Welcome back to our bedtime stories! I am very excited this week to say that instead of the teachers it will be children reading our bedtime stories. Tonight’s story is Mr Underbed, read by Jessamy in Year 4. Enjoy!
As I said before half term, each night I would love to share a video of you reading us all a story. If you would like to have your story shared on the school website please e-mail it to me (mrallenmonks23@gmail.com) and I will share a new ‘Monksdown Pupil Bedtime Story’ each night. I hope I get lots and lots of stories to keep our bedtime story time going strong. If you want inspiration, take a look at Max in Year 1 reading Monkey Puzzle.
Max in Year 1 has been reading one of my favourite books – too amazing not to share. Enjoy!
Two of our wonderful children, Ameera and Ahmed, have shared their favourite stories – have you read these books? If not, why not give them a try? If you have a favourite story you would like to share, please e-mail it to mrallenmonks23@gmail.com, we look forward to seeing you read some lovely stories.
