Monksdown Learning Council

Welcome to the Monksdown Primary School Learning Council page.

Our members were elected by their own classmates to represent each class in school from Years 2 to Year 6. We understand how important pupil voice is in our school and want to ensure that the children have the opportunity to have their voice heard. 

The children have already made a great impact this year and been involved in lots of different areas of school life. So far  they have been involved in: choosing new equipment for the infants playground, distributing resources for children’s mental health week, measured the daily mile track and met with Mrs Dakin to assist with policy writing. 

We look forward to seeing what else the Council members can achieve in our fantastic school. Keep up the great work!
