Autumn 2020

Month of 12/2020: R.1 recorded their Nativity this week. The children sang and danced and were so confident on the stage.

Month of 12/2020: R.1 had a special surprise visit this week. The children were so excited to see Santa, his Elves and two of his Reindeer.

Week of 23/11/2020: To celebrate Children in Need we wore spotty clothes, made spotty hats and biscuits and went on a Puddly hunt around outdoor.

Week of 23/11/2020: R.1 have been leaning about space this week, the children have enjoyed learning about planets and rockets. The children explored alien slime outside, made rockets in the creative area and counted the correct numbers.

Week of 08/11/2020: R.1 enjoyed Cosmic Kids yoga.

Week of 08/11/2020: R.1 have really enjoyed our outdoor learning sessions this week.

Week of 18/10/2020: The children have shown an interest in Pumpkins this week, so we decided we would make some Pumpkin Soup. We discussed where pumpkins come from and looked at different types of pumpkins. The children then had a turn at cutting the pumpkins and other vegetables for the soup. The best bit was tasting the soup, it was delicious!

Week of 28/09/2020: R.1 enjoyed exploring floating and sinking. We predicted what items we thought would float and sink and then tested our predictions.

Week of 20/09/2020: R.1 have been learning about different feelings this week in our PSHE lessons.

Week of 14/09/2020: R.1 had a busy week in school this week. They have enjoyed building dens outside developing their team working skills. This week we started to learn the story “The Journey” the children enjoyed drawing a story map..

Week of 14/09/2020: R.1 had a lovely first week in school, exploring their new classroom and making lots of new friends.
