ASD Training Letter

Following on from our successful coffee morning with the ASD Training team, we are holding a series of sessions to support parents who have a child with a diagnosis of autism or attention deficit disorder (Neurodiversity), or those who are worried that their children are struggling with some aspects of day to day life and would like some advice and support.

The ASD training team will be coming into school on Tuesday 6th February and Tuesday 20th February 2024 from 9.15am until 11.45am to provide training to parents on social communication and social behavior.

Dear Monksdown Parents,

We wanted to inform you about a valuable resource available to parents in our community. The ADHD Foundation Support Service is now operational at Clubmoor Children Centre every Tuesday from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

**Key Details:**

– **When:** Every Tuesday

– **Time:** 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM

– **Audience:** Parents of children aged 0-8 years

 

This service provides one-on-one support to parents facing challenges related to Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and related conditions. We have three 1-2-1 slots available each Tuesday.

If you encounter parents who may benefit from this service within your school community, we encourage you to complete the referral form, which can be found here https://forms.office.com/e/QB0R3dBs7E.

While demand is high, we will make every effort to accommodate all referrals.

Dear Monksdown Parents,

The Liverpool ASD Training Team are providing a series of Virtual Group Drop in advisory sessions via zoom. They are for parents/carers who have any questions or concerns about their child, in regard to social communication difficulties, waiting an ASD assessment or your child has a diagnosis of autism. It is also an opportunity to speak with an ASD trainer and other parents.

The sessions will be one half hours long, you can choose to join anytime with in
the time slot or stay for the duration.
You do not require a diagnosis to book your place.
