Monksdown Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club runs every morning from 8:00am.

Breakfast Club starts at 8:00 am and we ask all parents to complete an application form to confirm their regular place.

We ask all children to arrive before 8:30 am so we can ensure they all have time to eat and play before school starts at 8:50 am.

Breakfast Club costs £1 per child per day and we ask for this to be paid in advance using our online payment system, SchoolMoney

Children should be accompanied onto the school premises and into Breakfast Club by a parent / carer.

Breakfast Club is where we get the day off to a great start. We enjoy a wide range of activities from yoga, art and mindfulness to puzzles, construction and story. All of our sessions are teacher-led with lots of help and ideas for everyone. We really like the lovely start to our day and we feel ready to learn in class.

Breakfast Club is open to all children from reception to Year 6, providing a safe and soft start to the school day where children can play and eat.

We deliver breakfast club to;

– Help parents with work and other commitments

– Provide those who need it with a nutritious breakfast each day

– Help children who need a softer start to the day

We offer a nutritious breakfast to all children who attend breakfast club, this includes bagels, toast, a range of cereals and porridge.

If you require a one off or short term place please contact the office in advance where possible.

Magic Breakfast

Magic Breakfast has been supporting breakfast club at Monksdown School since 24/11/2010.

Magic Breakfast’s aim is to ensure that no child is too hungry to learn. So we deliver to school a nutritious breakfast provision of bagels, cereal, porridge and beans to ensure that your pupils have full tummies to start the school day.

Magic Breakfast is a charity and we rely on donations from our funders to enable us to do the work we do and a small membership fee from our schools.
