Our Monksdown families have been as generous as ever in donating food for our harvest assembly. This will be forwarded to the local food bank.

The children had an amazing, adventurous time at Coniston where they tried lots of new exciting activities.

Monksdown staff held a Macmillan Coffee Morning and raised a fantastic £251 for this good cause.

We’ve been enjoying the produce from our edible playground.

The children enjoyed an interesting question and answer session with Liverpool players Grujic and Klavan.  We also welcomed Hillsborough campaigner Margaret Aspinall who talked about the importance of telling the truth and doing what is right.

This surprise visit was organised through Red Neighbours which is Liverpool Football Club’s community programme.

Our fantastic year 6 children put on a wonderful leavers’ assembly for parents, staff and children. We will miss you all so much but know you will go on to achieve great things in your new schools. Special congratulations go to Alicia on receiving the Good Citizenship Award, it was truly deserved.

Children who had received 250 Dojo points enjoyed a well earned treat of a McDonalds meal.

On 7th July 2017 Liverpool Learning Partnership will be holding its second annual Maths Party Day in schools and children’s centres across the city.  The purpose of the Party Day is to celebrate all facets of Maths and its relevance to our lives.  Liverpool Learning Partnership has developed Virtual Party Bags for schools to provide activities (online and offline) for families to enjoy at home.
