Netball World Cup

Our Year 5 and 6’s who attend our after school Netball club were lucky enough to attend the Netball World Cup 2019 at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool! We saw Fiji beat Sri Lanka, who had the tallest ever player (6ft11!) and we cheered as Samoa won against Singapore. We were all so inspired watching all of the amazing players and can’t wait to get back on the netball pitch to try out some new moves we’ve taken from these world class athletes!

The school council is an essential part of our school community, feeding back opinions and discussions from peers to Mrs Hayes, our school council leader. Mrs Hayes then takes any important issues or suggestions to our school leadership.

Keep up the good work guys!

Summer term is the time of year when we start to take our sports activities outside, and this week we took our year 5 & 6 athletes to Wavertree Athletics Centre to embark on a series of training days.

The children really rose to the occasion, taking each and every new activity in their stride and focusing on improving their personal bests.

Good luck in the tournament!
