Catch up Premium

What is catch-up funding and what is it for?

In June 2020 the government announced £1 billion of funding to support children and young people to catch up on missed learning caused by coronavirus (COVID19). This is especially important for the most vulnerable pupils and pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds, who we know have been most affected. Our school received a one-off  payment of £ as part of the government’s universal £650 million catch-up premium for the 2020 to 2021 academic year. This funding was provided to ensure that schools have the support they need to help all pupils make up for missed learning.

Please click the link below to access information as to how we planned to spend the grant and how the effect of this expenditure on the educational attainment of those pupils at our school will be assessed.

SCHOOL CLOSED 5th January

School is CLOSED. From Tuesday 5th January we will move to remote learning which is available under the remote learning tab on this website.

Boris Johnson has announced that all primary and secondary schools will have to close from Tuesday, Jan 5, as England moves into a third national lockdown.

The Prime Minister said schools will need to offer remote learning until at least mid-February.

Mr Johnson said the new measures were necessary: “because we have to do everything we possibly can to stop the spread of the disease”.

Only vulnerable children and the children of key workers will be allowed to attend schools for face-to-face learning..

Christmas Presentations!

Its the moment you have all been waiting for!

Below you will find your child’s class Christmas presentations. The children have all put a lot of work into their productions and worked really hard to pretend you were all there watching them live.

I am sure you can’t wait to watch them.

Santa’s come to town!

We have had our visit from Santa today.

Although Santa isn’t a vulnerable adult, he is quite old, so our children had to practice social distancing this year.

Despite this, Santa remained just as magical and had a gift for everyone!
