Children in Need
Children in Need Day!
The children had a wonderful surprise when they arrived at school today. Everywhere was covered in spots. We all had a terrific day celebrating and raising money for the BBC Children in Need Appeal. The children have enjoyed many activities on the following themes: Mindfulness – Cosmic Kids Yoga, Get active – Joe Wicks workout, Be curious – Children tried a new activity, sport or food, Give – All children took part in a PSHE lesson which explored the work that Children in Need do to support children.
Michaela from Apple of my Eye delivered themed cookery lessons in which the children made spotty biscuits, spotty cheese cake and spotty kebabs. Children in EYFS made some spotty hats, spotty pictures, spotty biscuits and went on a Pudsey hunt around their outdoor environment.
