Autumn Term 2019
Week of 08/12/2019: Today we investigated what surface created the most friction
Week of 25/11/2019: After studying the work of William Morris, children in 62 designed and made their own printing tile in his style. They printed from their tiles using the overlay method.
Week of 22/10/2019: In PE we have been learning how to mount and dismount apparatus. The children also had fun climbing up and down ropes.
Week of 22/10/2019: 6.2 doing independent French writing.
Week of 15/10/2019: 6.2 are researching and cooking food from different religions. This week they looked at Islam. Here they are making a cheesecake that would be made to celebrate Eid.
Week of 15/10/2019: Anchor Creative assembly and workshop.
Week of 30/09/2019: 6.2 discussed and practised different types of jump, for example star, straddle and pike. We then attempted these jumps whilst dismounting different apparatus.
